The Albanian edition of the multi-award-winning YA novel Sacrifice to the Flies by Fanie Viljoen, originally published in Afrikaans as Offers vir die vlieë, has just been published by Ombra GVG, a leading publishing house based in Tirana, Albania.

Offers vir die vlieë by Fanie Viljoen is a dystopian novel that was awarded first prize in LAPA Publishers’ 2019 youth novel competition. It was also awarded an ATKV Children’s Book Award (grade 8 – 10; 2021) and the Scheepers Prize for Youth Literature (2022). The English translation, Sacrifice to the Flies, was published in 2022.
